Discover & Diners Club

Vantage Card Services, Inc. is registered with Discover in their Referral Agent Program (RAP). As part of the Discover RAP program, we are able to set up merchants to accept Discover cards. Discover charges a one time set up fee of $25 to the merchant. This charge appears on the first monthly merchant billing from Discover. Discover will send welcome letters, merchant correspondence, retrieval and chargeback notices, maintain customer service help desk, and provide funding and monthly statements to the merchant directly. Vantage simply establishes the merchant account number. Merchants will receive a separate Discover statement each month detailing the account activity and the discount fees due. Discover deposits will post to the business checking account the merchant designates individually of all other card types.

Vantage is able to process and fund Diners Club transactions by piggybacking them on to the MasterCard and Visa merchant number we issue. In this way, the Diners Club transactions will show as a line item on the monthly merchant statements we issue. We deduct the discount and fees and provide merchant funding. There is no cost to establish a Diners Club merchant account.
