Insurance Benefit Verification: SPOTCHECK® is a HIPAA compliant electronic insurance benefit verification service supporting both web based access and terminal POS devices for access to regional and national health plans. We now feature Medicare Part A and Part B database access. This means that facilities such as hospitals as well as doctors offices can now determine eligibility for Medicare beneficiaries. The information returned includes basic eligibility, deductible status, and information regarding secondary coverage or HMO coverage. Medicare coverage may be verified as part of our monthly service with no additional transaction fees charged for this payor.

Manual benefit eligibility verification is a time consuming and expensive process. With SpotCheck, a simple electronic procedure verifies patients' eligibility and provides a complete printout verifying coverage and, depending on Payer, all pertinent patient information such as co-pay, deductible and PCP.

Eligibility requests may be processed as a single request or as a batch submission. In either case, the need to remember multiple user ID's or passwords is avoided by use of our sophisticated network management system. Using SPOTCHECK Batch Processing on the Internet, your practice can verify your appointment calendar prior to your patient’s arrival in the office.

Our Internet POS software and service is now available for the Omni 3750 IP terminal. This is the first POS service to offer Internet eligibility with a dial back up on a multi-application platform (Credit/Debit processing, Insurance eligibility, and more all on one terminal). Our Internet service offers a significantly faster transaction time and removes the need for the medical office to have a dedicated telephone line. Use your always on, high speed Internet access such as Cable, DSL or T1 and at the same price as a dial up application.
